Presentation by Jean-Michel Frodon
Jean-Michel Frodon is the co-curator with Raymond Bellour and Christine Van Assche of the Chris Marker exhibition and retrospective at the Cinémathèque française (May 3rd-July 29, 2018). He is author or editor of multiple books and currently completing two major works on Chris Marker: Chris Marker, l'exposition (co-editor with Raymond Bellour and Christine Van Assche, Cinémathèque française, 2018), and Chris Marker, des mots pour des images. Commentaires 1952-2002 (co-editor with Raymond Bellour, Actes Sud, 2018). He is a professor at Sciences Po and publishes his film criticism on the online news magazine Slate.fr. He was previously senior film critic for the daily Le Monde (1990-2003), and Editor in chief of Cahiers du cinéma (2003-2009).
