Nicolas Collins, Professor in the Department of Sound at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, will give a talk about his work at the University of Chicago Center in Paris on Monday the 11th of April at 7:00 pm. Nicolas Collins, composer and former student of John Cage and Alvin Lucier, is considered to be one of the most original artists in electronic music. His book, Handmade Electronic Music - The Art of Hardware Hacking, has influenced emerging electronic music worldwide. This lecture is part of the Festival Sonic Protest.
